canvas-fingerprint

your browser draws hidden shapes on an invisible canvas. tiny differences in fonts, GPU and OS make the result unique; that's your fingerprint.

$ webbelt run canvas-fingerprint
-- press RUN TEST --
if trackers see the same hash every time, a pattern can be recognized, and someone might recognize your device.
a changing hash means something is randomizing your canvas. you should know how to randomize your hash. it can be done with CANVASBLOCKER, TRACE or CHAMELEON, or BRAVE.
being trackable means that someone somewhere can eventually recognize your device, and therefore, YOU.
what does stable mean?
how does this test work?
why can't i just clear it like a cookie?
how do i protect myself?
